  I have lived here since April the 28th 2017. I was really struggling and needed a place affordable as well as quick as possible. Little did I know what I was getting into. I love people and my son is the same way I do not teach him to see color I teach him to see people. I dont go outside much but having a 5yr old son I have to take him out daily for exercise and fun but it never fails its ends sadly. The kids treat my son different and I cannot find any other reason other than bcos he is the only white/hispanic kid out here, it breaks my heart to see how it efdects my son's self esteem and hurts his feelings bcos they wont be friends with him. Despite all that he still everytime he see one them he hollars hey friend you want to come play and they just ignore him iys aweful that things have to be this way. They treat me the same but I can handle it but for my son its not healthy at all plus it always stinks and the rent is way to high, oh and must I forget if you do have a car bcos I dont but friends of mine do and the drive way here will tear a car up quick and last but not least about 1.5 months ago there was 2 shootings in 2 weeks no one was hurt praise God but still its just not a place you want to be when you have young kids. I will continue to pray for the kids and familes that dont have a choice and have to be subjected to this environment!
